Welcome! I’m Sophie, a fantasy author represented by Ciara Finan at Curtis Brown Literary Agency.
Writing has been a huge part of my life since I was old enough to put pen to paper, whether fiction, non-fiction or poetry. After studying photography at university, I spent my twenties working as an editor, photojournalist and copywriter, whilst also running my own business.
In 2022, I decided to try my hand at fiction writing for the first time since I was a teen, and completed my first novel. Since then, I have written a further two manuscripts, including my most recent project THE SHADOW & THE SWORD, an adult dark fantasy novel featuring a slow-burn romance, queer representation, mental health representation, and a found family subplot.
I currently live in the east of England and can usually be found binge-reading romantasy novels, exploring the beautiful Norfolk coast, or chilling at home with my husband and two cats.
